Summary: VES is looking for a Lab Technician to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will be responsible to execute on-time and in-full delivery of products while providing timely and accurate information to internal and external customers and stakeholders. Follows company safety policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for ensuring the safe operation of all equipment and efficient scheduling of calibration and repairs. Rig up and test oilfield equipment following test procedures and applicable industry standards using high pressure, high temperature equipment. Improve overall reliability and safety.
Responsible for utilization of test Machines Like UTM, Hardness Tester, & Measuring Instruments (Vernier Caliper) etc.
Document testing events in a written report.
Maintain functionality and calibration of equipment.
Support product engineering for design modifications and create Models for testing Fixtures.
Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Knowledge:
Diploma in Mechanical / ITI Fitter.
Engineering technical or equivalent experience in field operations related to down hole tools and pumping operations. Understanding of engineering specifications, blueprints, and test specifications and other technical documents.
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in Testing oilfield tools or pumping operations.
