Job Summary:

GWS is seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Manager to lead our Bengaluru operations from the startup phase through ongoing development. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as the successful candidate will oversee production, manage teams, and ensure operational efficiency and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead and oversee production, maintenance, and quality teams to drive collaboration and maximize efficiency.

• Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans aligned with sales forecasts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• KPI Management: Set, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

• Process Optimization: Standardize product flows and enhance manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and productivity.

• SOP Compliance: Ensure all employees understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and consistency.

• Reporting: Track productivity metrics and prepare analysis reports for the General Manager.

• Quality Improvement: Analyze data and recommend actions to improve product quality, equipment performance, and organizational efficiency.

• Safety and Compliance: Promote adherence to 5S, safety, and quality standards among all team members.

• Performance Management: Oversee attendance and conduct regular performance reviews, supporting the development of manufacturing staff.

• Budget Management: Assist with manufacturing budget preparation, monitoring costs and optimizing resource allocation.

• Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives that enhance processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing management, ideally in injection molding, metal forming, or welding. Experience in startup environments is a plus.

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.

• Management Skills: Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills for international collaboration.

• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and professionally across all levels of the organization.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with manufacturing software and technologies; knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
