Assistant / Deputy Manager - Manufacturing (HDPE)

Role & responsibilities

1) Plant operation through DCS panel

2) Continuous and safe run of the plant following SOP and HSEF guidelines

3) Monitoring and recording of process parameters

4) Compliance of all production quality

5) Trouble shooting and problem solving

6) Start-up and shutdown activities

7) Monitoring and taking corrective actions for optimum utilization of resources

8) Give training to members, management and member trainees and new employees

9) Coordination with polymer laboratory to take corrective action regarding qualities of the polymer

10) Communication with field and other service departments

11) Supervision of field activities like equipment handover/start-up

12) Monitoring field equipment through LLF

13) Emergency handling like power failure, hydrocarbon leakage, Steam failure, Cooling water failure and Instrument air/Nitrogen failure.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE / B tech Degree in chemical Engineering from a reputed Engineering institute.
• 5 to 6years of operational experience in large Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Sector or similar continuous process plants .

• Requires in-depth knowledge of the different unit operations, DCS and PLC operation, instrumentation & control System.
• Knowledge of Mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns etc.
• Computer proficiency like Excel, word and Power point presentation are desirable
• Analytical mind, learning ability and acceptability to change.
