About Our Client:

Our Client is a leading financial services firm with a strong presence in the Indian capital markets. Their Institutional Equities business is at the forefront of providing comprehensive investment solutions to a diverse clientele, including domestic and international institutional investors. Role:

- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join Our Client's Institutional Equities Sales team.

- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investors, understanding their investment needs, and delivering tailored solutions.

Experience:

- We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in the institutional equities space.


- Prior experience in equity sales is preferred, but candidates with a strong equity research background will also be considered.

Role Objective:

- The primary objective of this role is to generate revenue by acquiring and retaining institutional clients.


- The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, including mutual funds, long-only funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and hedge funds.

- Understand clients' investment objectives, risk profiles, and portfolio requirements.

Provide comprehensive investment solutions, including equity research, trading, and advisory services.

- Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to showcase Our Client's capabilities and market insights.

- Collaborate with the research team to leverage market research for client engagement.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.

- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.

Education:

- CA or MBA with a CFA qualification is preferred.

Skillsets:

- Strong understanding of the Indian equity market and financial instruments.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

- Strong sales and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Knowledge of financial data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters).
