Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Auto Ancillary Associate to join the Institutional Equities team of our client, a leading investment bank. As an Auto Ancillary Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing insightful and in-depth analysis of the Auto Ancillary sector, creating a differentiated equity research product.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive and insightful research on companies within the Auto Ancillary sector, identifying unique investment opportunities.
- Utilize critical thinking and in-depth analysis to assess company performance, competitive positioning, and offer distinctive perspectives to clients.
- Develop research reports that provide a global outlook on the sector within the Indian market, including forecasts of global trends impacting the Auto Ancillary industry.
- Present research findings and investment ideas to institutional clients, fostering revenue growth for the firm.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure effective research dissemination and alignment with investment strategies.
- Continuously track the performance of Auto Ancillary companies, providing timely updates and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications: MBA or CA qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CFA certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in equity research, with a strong focus on the Pharma sector.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven ability to think critically, conduct in-depth analysis, and provide differentiated perspectives on companies within the sector.
- Strong sectoral knowledge and ability to connect global trends with the Indian Auto Ancillary industry.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to institutional clients.
- Track record of generating revenue through research products and cultivating strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
