Store & Purchase Manager

Job Overview:

The Store & Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, products, and services, as well as managing the storage and inventory of these items. This role ensures that the company maintains an efficient supply chain and stock levels while minimizing costs. The Store & Purchase Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure the timely availability of materials for operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management:
  
• Oversee and manage the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to meet the operational requirements of the business.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and explore new vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Inventory & Store Management:
  
• Manage inventory levels for all materials and products, ensuring sufficient stock while minimizing overstock.
• Implement efficient storage systems to ensure the safe keeping and easy retrieval of items.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation to prevent discrepancies.
• Order Management:
  
• Review and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures.
• Track the status of orders and provide updates to the relevant departments.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of received orders, including inspecting goods for damage or quality issues.
• Supplier Relationship & Negotiation:
  
• Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, terms, and conditions to support cost-effective purchasing.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on delivery timelines, quality, and pricing.
• Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolutions.
• Team Management:
  
• Supervise the store and purchase team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure the team adheres to company policies and procedures related to stock management and procurement processes.
• Budget & Cost Control:
  
• Prepare and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring compliance with financial constraints.
• Track and report on purchases, expenses, and cost-saving initiatives to management.
• Compliance & Reporting:
  
• Ensure that procurement processes adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, purchasing activities, and vendor performance to senior management.
