Dy. Manager / Manager - Technical Services @Dahej

Job Purpose

To ensure end to end engineering and technical support to the plant operations team as well as the projects team as and when required in order to ensure the achievement of project and production targets.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform technical /feasibility analysis

of the projects and provide feedback to corporate planning

• Identify areas of cost reduction in the project and account for the same in the budgets
• Manage project related technical escalations
• Track feedback from customers and resolve any matters
• Undertake projects for improvement of the plant on quality, cost and energy.
• Identify and rate technology packages, provide functional specifications and identify vendors for various technical applications ( support the engineering team)

• Lead continuous improvement projects and report back to the management
• Ensure complete documentation of the processes, as well as process improvement proposals to maintain the knowledge repository
• Identify new R&D Projects and provide

inputs to corporate planning

• Conduct regular status reviews with the team on new developments or process improvement.
• Training in new concepts related to engineering, design, project management
• Ensure all activities under his/her control and supervision are compliant with all the laws of land and statutory requirement.
• Conduct all operation of function, ensuring social responsibility and accountabilities by following the company guideline of the same.
• Be responsible for ethical operation under his control.
• Be responsible for prevention, detection and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption including breach of code of conduct and other company regulation.
• Avoid all such activity that could lead to or imply breach of code of conduct, anti-

bribery and anti-corruption etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Sound understanding of the processes of an integrated manufacturing plant
• Deep understanding of entire production value chain
• Expertise in review of vendor packages
• Ability to encourage innovative thinking in the workforce
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster good relations
• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions and strategies.
• Strong analytical skill, trouble shooting, statistical tools and simulation software.
