Deputy Manager / Manager|| Fire & Safety @ Dahej B

Role & responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the requirement of fire fighting facility by conducting the fire risk assessment.
• Organize to establish the requirements in coordination with the contracting agency
• Develop the team of employees by formation of the Emergency Response Team

• Auditing the plants for compliance of maintaining the Fire fighting facility for the site.
• Coordinate for the implementation of the recommendation to keep the system in good operating condition

• Ensuring all environmental programs, procedures, training, work practices and controls are effectively implemented.
• Ensure the plant equipment/process is ISO certified and follows defined environmental safety norms.
• Coordination and engagement of environmental personnel and other personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS goals which will positively impact and add value to the organization.
• Managing environmental processes to assure proper waste management and minimization practices in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• In consultation with Head HSE, prepare or modify the Fire & Safety procedures as per site.

• Implementing the guidelines/points of the external agencies and individual auditors, etc, engaged by the site for Fire Risk Improvement.

• Coordinate with all the department for the fire prevention activities by imparting regular training and drills .

Preferred candidate profile

B.E (Chemical) / M.SC .

• Good knowledge of working of Chemical plants.
• Expert in the latest trends in the FIRE SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
• Good implementation skills.
• Ability to foster good relations with people.
