Assistant Manager - HR Operations

Role & responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Plan and execute recruitment strategies to ensure timely hiring of quality talent.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and senior positions.
• Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and manage workforce planning.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing grievances and conflict resolution.
• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.
• Conduct employee feedback sessions and recommend actionable improvements.

HR Operations & Policies

• Ensure smooth functioning of HR operations, including payroll, attendance, and HRIS management.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

• Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory regulations (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
• Liaise with government authorities during inspections and audits.
• Conduct internal HR audits and resolve compliance gaps, if any.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance.
• Proven experience in handling end-to-end recruitment and HR operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in HR software and advanced MS Excel skills.
