Job Title: Chartered Accountant (End-to-End Roles and Responsibilities)

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Chartered Accountant to manage the full spectrum of financial activities. The role includes overseeing accounting, financial reporting, tax management, auditing, and compliance to ensure the companys financial operations are efficient and in line with legal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements) in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports to stakeholders (management, regulatory authorities, etc.).
2. Accounting Management:
• Oversee daily accounting functions including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate general accounting.
• Reconcile accounts, verify balances, and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
3. Taxation and Compliance:
• Prepare and file taxes (GST, Income Tax, VAT, etc.) on time and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws.
• Manage tax planning and provide advice on tax savings opportunities for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with statutory financial reporting requirements and government regulations.
4. Audit and Internal Controls:
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth auditing processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual financial performance against the budget and analyze variances.
6. Financial Analysis:
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost-saving or investment opportunities.
• Provide financial insights to senior management to assist in strategic planning and business growth.
7. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Manage banking relationships and oversee payment processing.
8. Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff and ensure effective team collaboration.
• Provide training on accounting best practices and financial systems.
9. Ad-hoc Tasks:
• Manage special financial projects and assignments as required by management.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience:

• Proven experience in handling end-to-end accounting and finance operations.
• Previous experience in managing audits, financial reporting, and compliance functions.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, based in Bangalore
• Office hours: 10.30 – 6.30 PM
