Senior Civil Site Engineer

A Site Engineer in civil construction plays a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within the specified parameters.

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Management:

• Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with the project management team to ensure that the work is carried out according to the planned timeline and within budget.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities to ensure that milestones are met.

2. Supervision of Construction Work:

• Oversee the day-to-day construction activities on the site, ensuring that they are carried out as per the approved plans and specifications.
• Ensure that the work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Problem-Solving:
• Identify potential issues or delays in the project and work proactively to resolve them.
• Make decisions on-site to keep the project moving forward, while ensuring that the decisions align with project goals and specifications.
  
  

4. Client and Stakeholder Relations:

• Be point of contact between the client, contractors, and the site team.

Address any concerns or queries from clients regarding the construction work.
