OEM Relations Lead - Clean Energy Firm
A leading clean energy company has engaged us to find an OEM Relations Lead who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers(OEMs).
As an OEM Relations lead you will be responsible for managing OEM relationships, leading contract negotiations, managing accounts, coordinating with sales, and marketing teams, and developing business strategies for new OEM opportunities.
A significant focus of the role will be to stay informed about the industry trends and representing the organization at industry events. The key responsibilities would also include fostering long-term relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring seamless delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and preserve relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Oversee OEM contract negotiations and ensuring favorable terms and agreements that complement with organization's corporate goals.
- Act as a primary account manager for OEM partners, attend to their needs and concerns in order to build long term relationships and drive expansion projects.
- Work together with the sales and marketing departments to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to the OEM partners.
- Create and execute plans to find new OEM prospects, growing company's network of alliances and coordination in the electric vehicle sector.
- Regularly brief senior management and major stakeholders on OEM relations, including performance indicators, relationship advancements, and strategic initiatives.
- Use insights to guide strategic decision-making and propel corporate expansion by keeping up with market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activity in the electric mobility space.
- To represent company's products, and capabilities to possible OEM partners and stakeholders, represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
To fit the bill, you must have:
- MBA with 10+ years of experience in Key Account management or partnership building roles. Preferably in the automotive or electric mobility sectors.
- Excellent contract management and negotiating abilities with a history of closing deals.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills along with good stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to swiftly adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to streamline complex procedures and establish trust with OEM partners through open communication.
