Founding Backend Engineer - Node.js/Python (4-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Robust Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services that

support dynamic content generation and delivery for client websites.

- Optimize Data Workflows: Streamline data processing workflows to ensure high performance and

low latency.

- Database Management: Implement and manage database solutions, focusing on vector databases

for efficient resource retrieval.

- Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain data pipelines to scrape and ingest data from websites and

other public domain sources, storing it efficiently in vector databases.

- Seamless Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and

data flow.

- Infrastructure Security and Scalability: Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the

backend infrastructure.

- Continuously enhance our engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale our codebase, boost

productivity, and support team growth.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js or Python.

- Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

- Strong understanding of database management, particularly with vector databases.

- Experience in building data pipelines for scraping and ingesting data from various sources.

- Work with the founders and customers to turn product ideas into engineering solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
