Director/Associate Director - Finance Controller - Retail/Hospitality - CA (10-15 yrs)

Duties & Responsibilities:-

- Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances

- Get the books written accurately to ensure a correct company's financial statements

- Preparing month-end reports for management, including P&L, balance sheets, and cashflow statements

- Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance

- Ensuring compliance with government regulations

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting,

- Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance

- Manage all audits - statutory, tax, internal and management

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state, and union government reporting requirements and tax filings

- Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Share feedbacks with AP team on quality issues and working closely on improving processes

Required qualification:-

- Proven working experience as a Financial controller

- 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience with 4+ years of related controllership experience

- CA is mandatory

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

- Excellent accounting software and ERP user and administration skills

- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills with ability to deliver under high pressure

- Job requires in depth knowledge of GST, TDS and Company Laws
