Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Seller Operations Executive role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations between sellers and internal teams. This position is dedicated to facilitating seamless order processing, communication, and coordination with sellers, as well as providing essential support to internal operations and finance teams. By streamlining processes, resolving issues promptly, and preparing insightful MIS reports, the Seller Operations Executive contributes to enhancing seller satisfaction & improving operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities & Support Actions

Internal Coordination for Seller Purchase Orders


  • Coordinate with internal teams to obtain and process seller purchase orders efficiently.
  • Ensure internal coordination for punching seller purchase orders and resolving any related issues promptly.

Communication with Sellers


  • Share purchase orders and necessary documentation with sellers in a timely manner to facilitate order fulfilment.
  • Maintain effective communication with sellers to address any queries or concerns they may have regarding orders or processes.

Regional Dispatch Follow-Up


  • Follow up on regional dispatches and ensure timely

delivery of documents or materials as required.

  • Coordinate with logistics teams or couriers to facilitate smooth dispatch operations.

Internal Coordination for Seller Invoices


  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to process seller invoices and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Address seller inquiries or concerns related to invoice processing and ensure timely resolution.

MIS Preparation


  • Prepare region-wise MIS reports for the category team, providing insights into seller activities, order volumes, and payment statuses.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for reporting purposes.

Payment Tracking and Coordination


  • Track seller payments and ensure timely processing by coordinating with the finance team.
  • Address any payment-related queries or issues raised by sellers and facilitate resolution as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, sales support, or related roles, preferably within the ecommerce or B2B industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce operations, order management systems, and finance processes is advantageous.
