Senior Engineer - Planning & Billing

Duties and Responsibilities

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for ensuring efficient planning and scheduling of projects, coordinating activities, and contributing to the successful delivery of project objectives. The role includes monitoring project progress, addressing issues, driving Management Audits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement processes and systems for project planning, micro-scheduling, resource allocation, and time management.
• Monitor the progress of projects and support Management Audit meetings by preparing reports and updates for senior management.
• Identify potential delays or risks in project timelines and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address issues effectively.
• Assist in the preparation of Recovery or Catch-Up schedules to mitigate delays and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Communicate project updates and critical red flags promptly through the appropriate reporting channels.
• Ensure alignment of project activities with organizational goals and timelines by working closely with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the focused and timely delivery of assigned Special Projects as required.

Qualification

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum Requirement
• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Background in guiding and collaborating with a team of project planning professionals.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Capability to perform efficiently under pressure and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Skilled in utilizing project management software effectively.
• Possession of a relevant project management certification is a plus.
