Lead Process Engineer

Technical

1. Champion the culture of technical innovation and cost optimisation within the Process Department.
2. Identify and develop potential technologies for conversion of Municipal solid Waste/Agricultural waste to Biogas/Chemicals and Ethanol from Sugarcane and cereals lie Rice and maize
3. Participate in technical discussions with the clients and Technology partners and review Process design packages provided by Technology partners.
4. Work with Detailed Engineering contractors to expand the Process packages to detailed design documents
5. Provide discipline specific inputs into Request for Proposals, and review vendor proposals and assist the Procurement group to place orders.
6. Provide Process inputs as required during the Detailed Engineering, Construction pre-commissioning, commissioning and stable operations phase of the project
7. Participate in Safety reviews for the Projects

Overall Management and Client Related

1. Promote new initiatives to clients and third parties as required.
2. Contribute to periodic risk reviews and develop strategies that mitigate exposure to both internal and external risks.
3. Provide positive engagement across all levels of the company to achieve business KPI s.

General Compliance and Improvements

1. Comply with all the Health and Safety regulatory site rules and requirements at all times
2. Responsible for own Health and safety and that of others who may be affected by work.
3. Request information necessary to perform the task efficiently as possible and stop work if not in compliance with the standard practices and procedures.
4. Support the business with procedures and required compliance

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualification & Experience: Minimum Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 10+ years experience in Waste to Biogas/Chemicals, Ethanol or the Oil & Gas industry.

Essential:
