Civil Designer

To succeed in this role, candidate should have hands-on experience using several construction
methods and materials and advanced knowledge of AutoCAD & other computer aided software
while designing of structures i.e., STADD pro, ETABS etc.

General Compliance and Improvements
1. Comply with all the Health and Safety regulatory site rules and requirements at all times
2. Responsible for own Health and safety and that of others who may be affected by work.
3. Request information necessary to perform the task efficiently as possible and stop work if
not in compliance with the standard practices and procedures.
4. Support the business with procedures and required compliance

Draftsman, Civil-Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
2. Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
3. Analyse configurations of the basic components of a structure.
4. Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.
5. Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
6. Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.
7. Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes AutoCAD, STADD Pro
(ETABS, BIM-Optional)

Draftsman, Civil-Engineer Requirements:
1. Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
2. Knowledge of IS Standards, Codes & specifications.
3. Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
4. Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical & Instrumentation)
5. Three-dimensional conceptual skills.
6. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Good communication and IT skills.
