Manager Exports (Minerals)

The candidate would be responsible to develop and manage marketing programs, support business objectives, lead acquisition, foster customer retention, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building

Role & responsibilities

• Market mapping and product promotion in international market.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities to expand company's customer base.
• Generate B2B leads through various modes like web, email marketing, outbound calling etc.
• Sales & marketing in international market including lead generation, connecting with customers and closing the potential enquiries by conversion of enquiry to sales order.
• Handle entire export sales and marketing (except those clients which are already handled by existing sales team members).
• Developing new business plan and strategies for multiple product line markets that ensures delivering against the annual sales plan and profitability.
• Make economical travel plans and meet customers in person whenever required.
• Dealing and negotiating with freight forwarders for freight and CHA charges. Get the best competitive rates and keep a list of approved CHAS.
• Timely payment collection from the customers & preparing feedback reports on payment collections.
• Closely working with technical team at customer's end for new product development, primarily at lab scale, pilot batch trial and bulk trial.
• Coordination and communication with plant team for timely production and dispatches of material and confirming that all specific requirements about readiness of material, dispatch details etc. as mentioned by the customer for a particular order are fulfilled in TOTO, ensuring zero defects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports, maintaining all post and present sales data and share a PPT presentation within the first week of each month.
• Prepare sales budget (between 15 to 28th February) of each year for the next financial year.
• Closely monitoring sales budget and preparing a detailed report on reasons of deviations from the budget.
• Maintain bottom line in sales and marketing.
• Participating in exhibitions & events as an exhibitor or a visitor for publicity propaganda of own product and services.
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service

Preferred candidate profile

5-8 years & above of experience in marketing and sales environment in the mining industry & minerals industry
