Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded professional to serve as the Lead Data Design, Data analysis, IOT, AI/ML. This role will lead the organizations BI initiatives, leveraging data insights to drive informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in delivering enterprise-level BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
• Define and execute the BI strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities to use data and analytics to optimize business performance.
• Act as a key advisor to executive leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and manage the BI team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional growth opportunities.
3. BI Solution Development:
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Ensure data models and analytics frameworks are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure robust data infrastructure and seamless integration.
4. Data Analysis and Insights:
• Leverage advanced analytics to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth.
• Ensure BI tools and reports deliver accurate, timely, and relevant information to stakeholders.
• Promote self-service analytics by empowering users with accessible BI tools and training.
5. Governance and Compliance:
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and security.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to data management.
• Oversee data privacy initiatives to safeguard sensitive information.
6. Technology and Innovation:
• Stay abreast of emerging BI tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Drive the adoption of modern BI platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Evaluate and implement AI/ML-driven BI solutions to provide predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• IOT, Artificial Intelligence
• Ability to work with AI Agents, BOTs, NLP & Other pertinent languages
7. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data and analytics needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for BI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 20+ years of total IT experience in BI, data analytics, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and data modelling.
• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms and big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale BI projects and driving business transformation.
• Strong aptitude to quickly learn and adapt to newer technology and technology changes
• Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Providing input into provision of capability enhancement initiatives current and future capability needs reflecting on enhancements or uplift of development practices
• Knowledge of AI models is a must
• Ability to help drive business decisions with the help of Dashboards (Descriptive, Predictive & Prescriptive) is must
• Should have experience working with large amount of external & internal data
• Knowledge of AI Algorithms is a must
• Experience building app & agent based or AI would be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in BI solutions.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Certification in BI tools or data analytics (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional).
