Reports To: Managing Director & CEO
Position Summary:
- This position is a key member of the executive leadership team.
- Responsible for development and implementation of the organization's technology strategy and innovation roadmap.
- Ensure present and future ready technology platform.
- Ensure flawless operations of technology platform with no tolerance.
- Proactive audit of technology platform to ensure measurable delightful customer experience.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Ensure technology resources align with business goals, delivering robust and scalable solutions.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
- Mitigate risks, ensure operational resilience, and minimize downtime during disruptions.
- Having knowledge of exchange operations including Clearing & Settlement is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Planning:
- Ensure uninterrupted faultless Exchange platform operations.
- Drive the technology roadmap, ensuring timely execution of projects within the allocated budget.
- Ensure quick adoption to market / regulatory changes.
- Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential business impact.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and events.
Technology Operations and Development:
- Oversee the entire SDLC, including business requirements gathering, prioritization, development, testing, release management, and documentation.
- Manage the company's electricity transaction platform (PRATYAY), website(s), mobile apps, dashboards, and ancillary tools.
- Optimize hosting infrastructure on AWS Cloud and continuously evaluate on-prem/cloud hosting models for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure up-to-date IT infrastructure, devices, and software to support business operations.
Governance and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT policies and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Oversee IT audits, VAPT, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity (BCP) plans.
- Manage cybersecurity frameworks and ensure data privacy, security, and resilience.
Team Leadership and Vendor Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate cost-effective contracts.
- Optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Ideate and implement technology solutions to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives / projects, leveraging cloud technologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Establish quality assurance processes and ensure zero tolerance for quality-related issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with business leaders to deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
- M.Tech/MCA/BCA/B.Tech in Computer Science / Engineering from a reputed institute.
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT domain, with a proven track record of 5+ years in technology leadership roles.
- Extensive experience in managing IT systems, especially in the online transactions domain, preferably in exchange or fintech industries.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, IT development vendors, and complex project management.
- Prior experience in an exchange infrastructure will be an advantage.
