JOB PURPOSE

Lead as single point of contact for coordination between existing PTB Civil and expansion team for terminal building works like fa ade, roof, passenger flow and the merging all existing building with expanded facility including review of conceptual design, detailed designs, construction management and project handing over considering the overall operational aspect.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators

• Review and provide necessary comments for the Various engineering submittals submitted by Contractor like Schematic drawings, detailed designs, Materials specifications etc. along with Expansion and EPC team
• Plan & Coordinate Expansion projects of entire PTB civil works which includes Site walk-through along with contactor during Pre and Post construction works and work proposals/permits are verified and vetted in concurrence with internal stake holders.
• Monitor various Civil installations like Roof , Rain water distributions, Fa ade , Flooring , Buildings Fabric and Fit outs , Structural Glazing, canopies, All Doors , Finishes and aesthetics etc. and ensure that works are carried out as per ER and design parameters are followed.
• Coordination with OEM & P&E System In charge , EPC Contractor & Expansion Team
• Ensure that necessary Site Acceptance tests and Site integration tests are performed as required.
• Assess the Operational performance and Identification of Defects and coordination for the rectification under DLP.
• Complete the takeover process from Expansion team with ZERO Gaps and necessary Project documentation requirements are handed over to Maintenance teams like as built drawings, Guarantee/warranty certificates, DLP, Project Spares, O & M manuals etc.
• Coordination for restoration of existing infrastructure damages during construction works.

Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) /Special Projects:

• Understand existing system and plan for improvement in the system at design stage such that there are no repeated issues are being encountered post expansion works.

Management Information System:

• Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving project works and supporting for maintenance-related problems.

Weekly Progress reports

Safety, Health & environment compliance, regulatory and legal requirement compliance:

• Manage and ensure that the team adheres to governmental regulations and laws and is in compliance with fire, safety, environment and insurance inspections.
• Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the team; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance staff.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• B. E Civil with 8-12 years of experience

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Experience in Design review, Construction, Finishes and hands on experience in AUTO CAD is preferable
