Job Description
Responsible for quantity surveying, estimating, billing, evaluation of change orders / payment processing and administration of CPD Contracts.
Contracts Management and Cost Control related tasks for all the Infrastructure Development Projects at the Airport carried out by GGIAL.
The tasks include study of design/ drawings, preparation of BoQ, Cost Estimations, Technical Specifications, Tender Documents, Contract Management post award, Cost Management, Billing/ Payment management, Claims/ Variations and Contract Closure.
The projects will primarily include small-medium scale building works, Improvement/ modification works in existing facilities at the New Goa International Airport, Goa.
The activities would include supporting the head of department (including external consultants and Project management team) from conceptualization stage till the commissioning / operationalization of all such projects.
The tasks include study of design/ drawings, preparation of BoQ, Cost Estimations, Technical Specifications, Tender Documents, Contract Management post award, Cost Management, Billing/ Payment management, Claims/ Variations and Contract Closure.

- Support the Project head in timely review of Design and ensure value engineering is done keeping in view balance between Client s requirement and design intent.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Periodic interactions with Customers
Technical discussions with Project Designer for all architectural, structural, MEP works
Statutory Approvals from authorities like DOCA, MADA, Electrical inspector, Lift inspector, Local fire authority, Pollution control board, etc.
All the contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Senior Management / Contracts Legal / HR Compliances
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
INR 100 crores Project Value in 2-3 years
OTHER DIMENSIONS
Internal stakeholders PC, Finance, PE, etc
Contracts / cost control teams of various vendors/ contractors
SAP MM PS Module
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Engineering in Civil.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8 years total experience of working on Infrastructure development projects.
- At least 5 years should be in airport or hospitality infra development projects.
- Minimum one job of value 100 crores executed as Contracts management/ Quantity - Cost control person.
- Should have relevant experience in Contracts Management, Quantity Surveying of infrastructure Projects.
- Knowledge of tools like CANDY, Cost Estimation tools and Market Rates/ BoQ analysis.
- Knowledge of working on SAP.
