Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Primary (what they do 90% of the time)

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for a variety of IT positions, from sourcing and screening candidates to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing various channels such as online job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and vendor partners.
  • Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and background checks.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Experience and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 6-8 years of proven experience in IT recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of IT skills and technologies.
  • Experience managing vendor partners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage the full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools

Unique Knowledge & Skill Requirement:

  • Functional knowledge
  1. Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter) with Solid ability to conduct different types of general screening and online assessment.
  2. Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
  3. Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Business Experience

Recruiters require an overall awareness of the roles within the Business they are supporting.

  • Leadership Skills

Recruiters have no direct supervisory/people management responsibilities. The role does require that the executive is able to confidently interact and discuss with team members and other colleagues across the organization.

  • Problem Solving

The role requires the ability to adapt quickly to our fast paced and changing environment. Recruiters will work with their respective leads to support Talent Acquisition delivery responsibilities.

  • Impact

Recruiters will have a direct impact on the core activities of the organization and are expected to deliver on responsibilities within time constraints. They will act as a champion for continuous growth of the organization.

  • Interpersonal Skills

Recruiter demonstrates effective communication, decision making, presentation, and facilitation skills.
