Job Description
- Analyse pharmamarket to identify gaps and opportunities, especially in the innovative space
- Prepare marketperformance overview for Glenmark s competition for all dosage forms
- Generate ideasof high value for proprietary products for Glenmark for global markets
- Evaluate newunique opportunities using multiple databases and recommend potential additionsto the portfolio
- Conduct riskassessments of the existing portfolio with suitable mitigation strategies.
- Prepare businesscases using standard forecasting tools for investments in product or portfolioacquisition with inputs from business and Product Development teams forin-house and in-licensed assets
- Support theregional portfolio leads in preparing product grids for next five years withhigh potential peak Sale factoring in complexity of various stakeholders likeR&D, RA, Manufacturing, Clinical and IP.
- Ensure theselected grid remains relevant and in good standing through regular reviews.
- Knowledgeand Skills
- Forecasting forNCE, generic, differentiated generic products
- Ability toincorporate qualitative inputs into quantitative models
- Understanding ofmarket access, reimbursement, competitive environment in major markets
- Portfolioexperience & Strong medicalknowledge in various therapy areas specially in Dermatology, Respiratory andOncology
- Strong communication,negotiation and influencing skills.Strong inbusiness analytics and planning for short and medium term
- Good understandingof business operations management
- Identification ofnew innovative/specialty/505(b)2 opportunities
- Optional : Understanding ofcurrent regulatory processes for relevant markets
- Understanding ofIP issues in pharmaceuticals including Hatch- Waxmann
- Strong CMCknowledge for various dosage form including oral solids, injectable, dermatology.
