Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team as an Academic and Non-Academic Hiring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academic recruitment and will be responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining top-tier candidates for our university. The HR Recruitment Manager will work closely with the academic department Heads to ensure that our faculty hiring processes are efficient, effective, and inclusive.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top-tier faculty members to our university
- Manage all aspects of the faculty hiring process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Collaborate with the Mathura Campus HR Team and Academic Departments to understand their faculty hiring needs and develop hiring plans to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, academic departments, and other stakeholders involved in the university hiring process
- Ensure that our faculty hiring processes are efficient, effective, and inclusive, and are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations by UGC/ AICTE/ PCI/ BCI and University's Eligibility Criteria and Policies.
- Use data analytics and other tools to track and measure the success of our faculty hiring efforts and identify areas for improvement
- Headhunting for Leadership roles through Linkedin, references, Job portals, or social media recruitment.
- Manage the onboarding process for new faculty members, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
- Collaborate with other members of the HR team to ensure that our faculty members receive the support and resources they need to succeed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on academic faculty hiring and other roles
- Strong knowledge of academic hiring practices and procedures, including faculty searches, candidate evaluation, and offer negotiation
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with academic departments, candidates, and other stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to faculty hiring, including policies and procedures
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and other HR technology tools preferred
