Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team
  • As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end partnerships with universities and colleges
  • You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, generating leads, making calls, and managing outbound sales efforts
  • You will also act as an independent contributor, working autonomously to achieve our ambitious sales goals
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to establish and nurture end to end partnerships with universities and colleges
  • Identify potential leads and opportunities within the higher education sector
  • Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, emailing, and networking, to generate new business
  • Utilize lead generation platforms to identify and engage potential clients
  • Manage inbound and outbound email campaigns to generate and nurture leads
  • Create and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations to prospective clients
  • Understand and effectively communicate the value proposition of GISULs edtech products and services
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials to support sales efforts
  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring long-term relationships and satisfaction
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Act as an independent contributor, taking full ownership of sales initiatives and outcomes
  • Master s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly within the higher education sector
  • Strong understanding of the edtech industry and its challenges
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop sales strategies, and close deals
  • Proven experience in handling a sales portfolio of at least $1 million annually
  • Familiarity with lead generation platforms, cold calling, and managing inbound/outbound email campaigns
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication to achieving results
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus
