The candidate will be an integral part of our closely-knit team and will be responsible for all sourcing and purchasing of equipments and products for the company across the world
Key responsibilities
Analyse technical data and specifications of the equipment and supplies requirements
Analyse all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing
Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies and supplier preferencing study
Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product
Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets
Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy
Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement
Required skills and attributes
Able to analyse technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs
Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage the supply chain to the customer
This job role requires close coordination with our offices in Dubai and the United States and communication skills are an integral part
Preferred Qualifications
BBA / MBA / Degree in logistics or supply chain management / BBM
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical fields, capable of understanding customers technical requirements
Preferred 1 years of relevant experience as Sales and Purchase coordinator
