We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our organization as A VP Product Engineering Services. In this role, you will help Genpact accelerate its growth in delivering software product development engineering services to its target clients across different businesses . You will play a key rol e of Product Engineering leader with deeper involvement in design to implementation, and management.

In this role, we are seeking a highly experienced Software Product Engineering leader w ith a minimum year of experience in Product engineering organization to join our growing team of product engineering services .

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their software product engineering needs, challenges, and goals. Develop and maintain strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

• Understand, review conceptual architecture and detailed designs for software solutions that uses high volumes of data .

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data intensive software product engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

• Monitor and evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and team members to shape account specific delivery solutions and team organization.

• Provide strategic leadership with hands on approach, technical direction in the development and execution of quality engineering strategies, methodologies, and best practices.

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced engineering strategies including A PI, Database layer, UI/UX tailored to unique needs of different products using different technology stack.

• Conduct software product reviews from product engineering lens , provide guidance, coaching of test design, test automation and performance optimization techniques.

• Own, drive and establish a culture of high-quality software products while aggressively reducing defects in different products and implement shift left approach.

• Build, lead a team of talented quality engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

• Partner and p rovide quality engineering leadership to various product engineering team to help them build, deliver, high quality products in a faster possible and using automated quality engineering approach.

• Manage budgets and resources to deliver business outcomes.

• Lead cross-disciplinary teams, making hard prioritization choices, and ensuring complete visibility of roadmap, increase adoption of best practices, status, and risk to stakeholders.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Q ualifications / Skills

• Relevant years of work experience in software product engineering/ Quality engineering roles ; some years of engineering experience in Product engineering leadership roles .

• Some years of experience in leading UI technologies (Angular , React , Jav aScript) based product development

• Significant years of prior experience with hands on experience in leading , implementing / practicing product e ngineering approaches using full stack technologies.

• Deep technical knowledge and experience of designing, delivering complex distributed technologies including deployment on cloud platforms like AWS .

• Deep knowledge of database technologies like MS SQL, P ost greSQL

• Deep understanding of programming languages/frameworks/scripts like Java, Spring Boot framework, Shell Script etc.

• Deep understanding of Non - functional requirements like Maintainability, Security, Testability, Scalability, Observability Monitoring etc.

• Experience in anticipating bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and making trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.

• Experience in maintaining constant balance between long term vision along with addressing immediate needs, driving an incremental approach that is metrics and data driven. It will require communicating effectively with leaders across Director and VP level on a regular basis while ensuring that the teams are aligned, and stakeholders are aware of key performance indicators.
