We are inviting applications for the role of Manager - O2C, Cash application/Credit Control (London Market)
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing teams and service level target’s role for P&C Insurance Operations Business. Facilitating goal-level creation for the team in line with Business goals and works with team to ensure the goals are cascade to all associates.. Responsibilities • Knowledge and experience of insurance accounting is essential. • Expertise in applying in cash receipts to customer/broker accounts. • Knowledge reconciling bank statements and cash receipts. • Active management of aged debts, unallocated cash, internal and external queries. • Monthly Bank reconciliation highlighting and recording transaction movement and raising with finance to ensure process is consistent. • Monitor the daily signing from bank or 3rd party downloads. • Process daily cash analysis report. • Follow up or escalate with responsible business units on outstanding breaks according to internal procedure. • Effective broker management and knowledge of Credit Control. • Understanding of the insurance business and related financial processes. • Familiarity with insurance policies, premium collections and claims processing. • Timely and accurate processing of cashes, premium, Reversals and Payables if any. • Support existing backlog clean up exercises. • Resolving Premium/ Claims/ Tax differences. • Monitor, analyses and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers. • Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client and company stakeholders. • Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks. • Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area. • Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment. • Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning. • Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a function. • Root Cause Analysis on escalations received Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum qualifications • Commerce Graduate, with relevant industry experience • Understanding of Lloyd's and London market operations: Familiarity with the unique processes, regulations, and practices within Lloyd's of London and the broader London insurance market. • Proficiency in ECF (Electronic Claims File) systems: Experience using ECF systems to manage claims efficiently and ensure timely processing. • Knowledge of Xchanging services: Expertise in utilizing Xchanging platforms for premium processing, claims management, and other transactional services. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance: Understanding of UK-specific insurance regulations such as Solvency II requirements to ensure all transactions comply with legal standards. • Client relationship management skills: Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with brokers, underwriters, and clients within the London market. • Fluent in English language - both Written and Oral. • Communication - Good Written and spoken Communication Skills. • Good knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel Preferred qualifications • Experience in managing accounts receivable processes, including posting payments, processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. • Familiarity with credit and collection procedures and best practices. • Candidate with P&C insurance knowledge will be preferred Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws. Lot of politics, work exploitation, low salary, no recognition, one female director from Mumbai is torturous lady to deal with, she will not let you live in peace, disproportionate benefits to people who 👅 —- of superiors in the organisation. No one wants to stay here for long. Gurgaon India office is the worst place to work ever.
