Mainframe Developer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs for mainframe applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions using VSAM/JCL.
• Troubleshoot issues related to DBMS (DB2) and provide technical support for production systems.
• Develop automated testing scripts using various tools to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Job Requirements :

• Experience in Mainframe Development with expertise in COBOL programming language.
• Strong understanding of DBMS (DB2) concepts and ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency in developing complex programs using JCL (Job Control Language) and VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method).
• Experience in troubleshooting issues related to mainframes and providing technical support.
