Inviting applications for the role of a Principal Consultant - ELK /Splunk Admin

Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Elastic Search a dministration. Experience in Splunk administration a plus . This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Computer Science/ Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self-starter, you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world.

Responsibilities

• Assist with triage of issues that come into the Support Queue

• Respond to alarms from the NOC and perform runbook actions as required

• Coordinate Linux Patching Activities with our Linux Support Team

• Assist with platform upgrades and testing, as necessary

• Assist with automation efforts as needed

• Assist in migrating of Elastic workloads from Elastic Cloud Enterprise to Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes as requested

• Assist with documentation as required

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Q ualifications / Skills

• Bachelor s Degree with experience in Information Technology.

• Must have e xperience in Splunk & ELK Administration.

Preferred Q ualifications / Skills

• Proven experience in Elastic Search administration. Experience in Splunk administration a plus

• Strong working knowledge of Red Hat Linux

• Excellent communication skills

• Automation (Ansible) Experience a Plus

• Experience managing Elastic environments in Kubernetes strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with GitOps Frameworks and Processes

• Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.

• In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.

• Experience in the telecommunication industry
