Job Description

We have been retained by a Singapore based client into Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing to hire a Manager HR/HRBPGM Operations to be based in Chennai (Oragodam).

We are excited to inform you about a fantastic opportunity with 18+ years of experience in HR Management and looking for somebody who have experience in greenfield and brownfield project.


About the Role:


We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic HR professional to lead HR operations at their Chennai (Oragadam) facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, ideally with experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects. You will be responsible for all aspects of HR, from talent acquisition and development to employee relations and compliance, within a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:


- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives.


- HR Operations Management: Oversee all HR operations, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and HRIS.


- Greenfield/Brownfield Project Experience: Contribute to HR setup and operations for both new (greenfield) and existing (brownfield) manufacturing facility projects.


- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Foster a positive and productive work environment.


- Talent Management: Develop and implement talent acquisition and development strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.


- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance management systems to drive employee performance and organizational goals.


- Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.


- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor legislation and regulations.


- Stakeholder Management: Interact and present to Senior Management, effectively communicating HR

strategies and initiatives.


- Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-effective HR solutions.


Required Skills & Experience:


- At least 18 years of experience in HR Management.


- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR within the manufacturing industry.


- Electronics Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.


- Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects is highly desirable.


- University graduate with a major in HR Management.


- Strong organizational and planning abilities.


- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.


- Comfortable interacting with and presenting to Senior Management.


- Resourceful in identifying cost-effective solutions.


- Sound quantitative and statistical reasoning skills.


- Good networking ability with industry HR practitioners.


- Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.


- Good working knowledge of local labor legislation and regulations.


Other Skills:
