Role Description:
- This is a full-time, on-site Area Sales Manager role located in Hubli.
- The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities within their designated area, developing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans for the assigned territory, aligning with overall company objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and assess competitor activities.
- Set realistic and achievable sales targets for the team and monitor progress regularly. Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement in sales performance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors. Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively. Gather customer feedback and provide valuable insights to the product development team.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support. Monitor team performance, identify training needs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.
- Territory Management: Manage all aspects of territory operations, including inventory management, order processing, and logistics.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and performance data. Effectively manage expenses within budget. Market Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build relationships. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive developments.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG Non Food industry (preferably in the healthcare sector). Proven track record of exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Strong experience in team management and leadership.
Skills:
- Sales & Negotiation: Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Communication & Presentation: Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify solutions.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Teamwork: Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Other: Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory. Proficiency in relevant computer applications (MS Office Suite, CRM software).
