GalaxEye
Space, is a deep-tech Space start-up spun off from IIT-Madras and is currently
based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of
space exploration. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge solutions that
address the challenges of the modern space industry by specialising in
developing a constellation of miniaturised, multi-sensor SAR+EO satellites.
Our new age technology enables all-time,
all-weather imaging, this with leveraging advanced processing and AI
capabilities, we ensure near real-time data delivery and are glad to highlight
that we have successfully demonstrated these imaging capabilities, the first of
its kind in the world, across various platforms such as Drones as well as HAPS
(High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification :
Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and potential areas for expansion in Earth Observation Market.
Analyze competitor products and market dynamics to help define GalaxEyecompetitive positioning and identify growth opportunities in both existing and new markets.
Strategic Planning and Recommendations :
Support senior leadership with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations on business development, market entry, and product diversification.
Collaborate with technical teams to translate market and customer needs into actionable product and service strategies for the companysatellite technologies.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ideating and channelizing the Customer Relationship Management Funnel.
Networking & Communications with Senior Management from Target Companies.
Gather, analyze, and interpret customer feedback and satisfaction data to understand customer needs, challenges, and preferences in the space tech industry.
Support Sales and Marketing Efforts :
Assist the Sales and Marketing teams with market analysis, go-to-market strategies, and identifying key customer segments for GalaxEyeproducts.
Develop reports and presentations that clearly communicate business trends, forecasts, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and potential clients.
Business Reporting and Documentation :
Maintain accurate business performance reports, documenting key findings, trends, and business insights.
Develop and present regular reports to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions and provide updates on business initiatives.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, sales, and finance) to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
Requirements
Bacheloror Masterdegree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Experience (3-5 years) as a Business Analyst, ideally in the space tech, aerospace, or technology industry.
Some understanding of the space industry, particularly Earth Observation (EO) market.
Proficient in data analysis, including the use of tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience in market research, competitor analysis, and identifying business growth opportunities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical and business information in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.
Knowledge of space industry regulations and business models is a plus.
