Job Description
GalaxEye
Space, is a deep-tech Space start-up spun off from IIT-Madras and is currently
based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of
space exploration. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge solutions that
address the challenges of the modern space industry by specialising in
developing a constellation of miniaturised, multi-sensor SAR+EO satellites.
Our new age technology enables all-time,
all-weather imaging, this with leveraging advanced processing and AI
capabilities, we ensure near real-time data delivery and are glad to highlight
that we have successfully demonstrated these imaging capabilities, the first of
its kind in the world, across various platforms such as Drones as well as HAPS
(High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites).
Key Responsibilities:
- Market and Opportunity Research :
- Conduct secondary research to understand the space tech industry, focusing on Earth Observation (EO) technologies.
- Identify and analyze new business opportunities and market trends that can support GalaxEyegrowth and product development.
- Policy Interpretation and Analysis :
- Review and interpret industry policies, regulations, and governmental guidelines relevant to the space technology sector.
- Analyze the impact of these policies on the companys operations and strategy, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Business Performance and Data Analysis :
- Help develop reports that summarize key findings from market research and business performance analysis.
- Strategic Insights and Reporting :
- Provide analytical support in the development of strategies to drive business development and enhance the companyposition in the space-tech market.
- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing market insights, business opportunities, and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :
- Work closely with various teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to gain insights into how different business areas contribute to company growth and market success.
- Support the coordination of projects aimed at identifying new market segments and customer needs.
- Support Sales and Marketing Activities :
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials based on research findings and market insights.
Requirements- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bacheloror preferably Masterdegree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic background with an understanding of policy analysis and the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
- Solid research skills, with the ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative market analysis.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen interest in space technology and the Earth Observation sector is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of the space industry and satellite technologies is a plus.
