Head - QMS & QAD ( Plastic Injection moulding & Tool Room Division)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for Plastic Injection Molding and Tool Room division.
• Ensure the QMS aligns with international standards (ISO 9001, etc.), regulatory guidelines, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage certification processes.
• Drive the establishment and regular review of quality objectives and performance metrics.
• Develop and enforce quality standards for the Tool Room and Injection Molding operations, ensuring zero-defect production and adherence to client specifications.
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing teams on quality-related matters.
• Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations to drive continuous improvements.
• Implement and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the divisions, utilizing tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements that reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality & quantity.
• Evaluate suppliers based on their quality standards and capabilities.
• Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure team members are aligned with the company's quality objectives and standards.
• Ensure that all quality documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
• Generate and present regular reports on quality performance, issues, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers on quality-related issues and ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, providing solutions in a timely and professional manner.

Preferred candidate profile

• At least 10-15 years of experience in a Quality Management role, with a strong focus on Plastic injection molding and tool room operations.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent), quality control processes, and auditing procedures.
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, CAPA, 8D and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong understanding of Plastic Injection Molding processes, tooling, and manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency in Quality Management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
