Job description:

• Involved in the design and detailing of press tools.
• Executing drawings and preparing Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Creation of final drawings for final machining details and assembly details.
• Following engineering standards for the selection of raw materials required for the products.
• Creation of Bills of Materials for raw materials, individual components, and assemblies.
• Independently handling tool design and manufacturing for sheet metal components.
• Designing press tools such as blanking, piercing, restricting, forming, bending, etc.
• Designing progressive press tools.
• Knowledge of modular fixtures & incorporating hydraulics & pneumatics into Jig & fixture design for high performance & customized ones
• Leading all activities of tool design and development from conceptual to detailed phases, providing post-design support for development.
• Performing component feasibility studies, involvement in quoting tool costs, and designing die layouts and press tools.
• Designing tools for critical press parts.
• Designing progressive dies and multi-slide tools.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing press tools, progressive dies, and critical press parts.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, engineering standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in AutoCAD
• Designing press die layouts and machining fixtures (mechanical and hydraulic) using ZW3D CAD, Uni-Graphics/NX 10, and Cimarron (expert in modeling, surfacing, sheet metal design, and drafting).

Tool Maker - 4 Openings

Job description:

• Assemble and fit components for press tools, molds, gauges, jigs, and fixtures to ensure proper functionality.
• Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity and customer deadlines
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Repair and maintain press tools / Molds , die repairs
• Operate various machines (e.g., lathes, milling and grinding machines)
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Skills Required:

• Technical qualification such as a diploma, certification, or apprenticeship in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Formal education is not a must, but hands-on experience and technical skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Expertise in assembling and maintaining press tools, jigs, gauges, and moulds.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and industry advancements
