Assistant Vice President - Finance - FMCG/FMCD/Telecom (12-18 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities: Please note that this is an Individual Contributing role

Strategic Advisory :

1. Collaborate closely with the CFO to explore financial strategies, optimize business models, and engage in forward-thinking discussions to shape the company's financial direction.

2. Actively challenge assumptions and provide constructive insights to facilitate well-informed financial decision-making.

3. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, translating complex financial data and operational performance metrics into clear, actionable insights.

4. Create high-quality financial presentations and reports for internal reviews with the CEO, Leadership Teams, board meetings, and external stakeholders.

5. Analyze financial performance, key operational metrics, and trends to provide valuable insights into the company's fiscal health.

6. Work with cross-functional teams to collect and synthesize critical data, ensuring the CFO has the information needed for effective decision-making.

7. Organize and manage confidential financial documents, records, and files with efficiency and discretion.

Market Insights & Intelligence :

1. Stay updated on financial market trends, industry movements, and key economic factors that impact the company's financial strategies and performance.

2. Assist the CFO in formulating strategic financial initiatives, business development plans, based on market analysis and macroeconomic factors.

3. Conduct research to uncover insights on market opportunities, potential risks, and financial trends to help guide strategic direction.

Independent Projects :

1. Lead various special projects and initiatives end to end.

2. Identify and address potential obstacles in new projects, working proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure progress toward successful outcomes.

Operational Support :

1. Attend business and financial review meetings alongside the CFO, documenting key discussions, decisions, and follow-up action items.

2. Follow up on action items from meetings, ensuring deadlines are met, and outcomes align with the CFO's expectations.
