Role Overview:
The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization. This role will act as a bridge between the Sales Head and various teams, ensuring smooth communication, collaboration, and alignment with organizational goals. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team and sales departments to ensure the timely execution of key strategic initiatives and will be involved in high-level decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist the Business Head (Sales Head) in executing and overseeing strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline internal processes and workflows across the sales function to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Project Management: Take ownership of key business projects, from planning through to execution and delivery. Ensure projects are completed within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to the Business Head and other senior leaders to support data-driven decision-making.
- Leadership & People Management: Support in driving the culture of accountability and performance across teams. Assist with team-building initiatives and motivate teams to achieve set targets.
- Problem Solving & Decision Support: Identify potential challenges and provide solutions that support business growth and smooth operations.
- Communication & Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Act as a representative of the Sales Head during meetings and briefings.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: MBA (or equivalent) from a reputed institution.
Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or leadership role, ideally within a sales-focused or commercial function.
- Proven track record of supporting senior leadership in executing strategic initiatives.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working in fast-paced environments.
- Previous exposure to the power technology, energy, or manufacturing sector is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, with an ability to manage multiple priorities, drive collaboration, and inspire teams.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and presenting actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful presentations for diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Interpersonal Skills: High emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships and influence others at all levels of the organization.
