About the Role:
- We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Regional Managers to lead our sales teams in Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the medical device or healthcare industry, with prior experience as a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) or Sales Manager (SM) with regional-level exposure.
- This role is critical for driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Design, implement, and facilitate the annual sales plan for the region, aligning with the overall budget and company objectives.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize market share and penetration.
- Conduct sales forecasting, pricing analysis, and key account management.
Distribution Network Management:
- Expand, maintain, and grow the regional distribution network.
- Develop a robust channel distribution strategy and ensure timely follow-up from dealers.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of distributors, identifying areas for improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and market understanding.
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Operational Excellence:
- Plan and coordinate with the commercial and factory teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor and analyze sales reports, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Market Analysis and Intelligence:
- Gather and analyze market information, including competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs.
- Provide timely information and recommendations to management on market dynamics and new strategies.
- Conduct regular meetings and interactions with key customers nationwide to build strong relationships.
Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to the development of overall sales strategies and initiatives.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide valuable insights on regional market conditions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is essential.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a regional management role.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and sales skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region.
- Excellent knowledge of the regional market and competitive landscape.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
