Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager - FMCG - to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving business growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, Key Account management skills & customer-focused mindset . As KAM FMCG, you need to travel extensively across India to different key account customers.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    • B.E in Electrical/E&E/E & C/ Mechanical/Production
    • MBA (Preferred) or Management Degree/Diploma
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in key account management, sales, or customer success, preferably in marking & coding Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong and long-lasting relationships.
    • Understand the business needs, challenges, and requirements of clients, and proactively suggest correct FMPL products & solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate and achieve success with our products and services.
  • Account Strategy & Growth:
    • The Key Account Manager - FMCG will work for business development in primarily select Strategic Global Accounts with few Multi-country Accounts & National accounts.
    • Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue and profitability for key clients.
    • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and work to expand the company's footprint.
    • Monitor account performance and develop clear action plans to address any issues or opportunities.
    • Regular competition mapping and work on market intelligence to win most deals for FMPL. Ensure the budgets are met consistently.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, product development and customer support) to ensure alignment on client needs and project delivery.
    • Collaborate with the Technical team to create and deliver customized solutions that suits customer requirements.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM systems.
    • Provide regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts.
    • Submission of Monthly travel plan, Monthly report, Key Account projections & Action plan
  • Issue Resolution & Service Excellence:
    • Address client concerns and resolve any issues in a timely and effective manner.
    • Ensure elevated levels of client satisfaction, working to retain and grow the account base.
