PLC Developer (5-9 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and debug PLC programs using ladder logic, structured text, or other IEC 61131-3 programming languages, specifically for Schenck automation systems

- Manage the software delivery process, ensuring timely and accurate releases of PLC programs and related software components.

- This may include version control, build management, and deployment procedures.

- Develop a deep understanding of Schenck software and its integration with PLC systems.

- Implement and execute software delivery activities, including configuration, testing, and commissioning of PLC systems and related software.

- Provide technical support to team members regarding PLC programming, software delivery, and Schenck software.

- Act as a professional contact person for team members, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and project managers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC systems, software delivery, and Schenck software integration.

- Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs, software delivery procedures, and system configurations.

- Adhere to company standards and best practices for PLC programming, software delivery, and quality assurance.

- Identify opportunities for improvement in software delivery processes and PLC development practices.

- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and automation system development.

- Proficiency in at least one PLC programming language (ladder logic, structured text).

- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols.

- Experience with software delivery processes and tools.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
