Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled PLC Developer with expertise in Beckhoff Automation.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modularization and software architecture, as well as experience in agile development processes worked in developing and implementing the PLC with Beckhoff software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement PLC control solutions using Beckhoff Automation technology and TwinCAT software.

- Develop, debug, and optimize PLC logic, ensuring system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

- Create structured and modularized PLC software to support flexible design and system reconfiguration.

- Plan, design, and implement scalable, modularized PLC architectures in line with system requirements and performance goals.

- Ensure that modularized code adheres to industry best practices and maintains reusability for future projects.

- Work collaboratively within cross-functional agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

- Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols to validate PLC code and overall system performance.

- Perform testing to ensure seamless integration of Beckhoff solutions with plant processes and third-party equipment.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues during development, implementation, and deployment stages.

- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices related to Beckhoff technologies, PLC programming, and automation solutions.

- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members as needed, fostering technical excellence and growth within the team.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Proven experience with PLC programming and development using Beckhoffs TwinCAT software.

- Hands-on experience with Beckhoff controllers, hardware, and software solutions.

- Familiarity with B&R automation systems and other complementary automation technologies is highly desirable.

- Expertise in modularization principles and object-oriented programming concepts as they apply to PLC design.

- Experience integrating automation solutions with SCADA systems and other process control technologies.

- Proven experience using agile development processes in software development projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

- Hands-on experience with hardware commissioning and testing.

- Validation using Beckhoff test environments.

- Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they pertain to PLC and automation solutions.
