Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers using monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot printers, audio/video devices, and other peripherals to resolve technical issues.

• Respond to alerts and alarms to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
• Conduct initial troubleshooting for device-related issues, including checking configurations and logs.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior engineers or appropriate teams.
• Document all incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist in routine maintenance tasks like system reboots, firmware updates, and configuration backups.
• Monitor device performance metrics, including CPU, memory, and bandwidth utilization.
• Ensure compliance with security policies by managing firewall rules, access control, and device configurations.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports on network health and incidents.
• Participate in rotating shifts to provide 24/7 network monitoring and support.
• Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and practices.
• Work in rotational shifts including weekends & holidays.
