Purchase Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the purchasing process from requisition to payment.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to minimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are stocked efficiently without overstocking.
• Review and approve purchase orders and ensure that all orders meet the company's requirements and specifications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery time.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that all materials and products are delivered on time and in compliance with specifications.
• Resolve any supplier-related issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor purchasing budgets and ensure adherence to cost control measures.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
• Analyze market trends and recommend cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and receipts.
