Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate project updates, risks, and issues to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage client expectations, ensuring alignment between project objectives and deliverables.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Define and implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Conduct thorough project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and project execution.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing among team members, promoting a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, including key metrics, milestones achieved, risks, and issues, to project sponsors, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Communicate project updates and progress through presentations, meetings, and written documentation.
- Engage in effective and timely communication with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Who we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- At least 6+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, agile frameworks, and project management best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications are a plus.
