Travel Consultant

Job Summary: The Travel Consultant will be responsible for coordinating and managing voucher redemption processes, ensuring compliance with policies, and delivering exceptional service to clients. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect voucher copies along with passport and PAN card scan copies from clients.
• Verify the number of vouchers eligible for redemption and ensure accuracy.
• Check the availability of flight/hotel packages within the quoted budget and communicate options to clients.
• Provide comprehensive communication to clients regarding visa requirements.
• Conduct all communications with clients and vendors through email for clarity and documentation.
• Obtain confirmation of travel packages from clients via email and maintain records.
• Collect additional payments, update invoices, and receipts in the system before client departure.
• Confirm ticket and land arrangements according to agreed-upon terms and conditions.
• Prepare and submit voucher utilization reports to the Head of Business Line (HBL) on a weekly basis.
• Generate invoices for payments fortnightly and submit them to the Project Head.
• Ensure accurate and error-free processing of voucher redemptions in compliance with company policies.
• Provide exceptional service to customers redeeming vouchers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Maintain efficient response times for customer inquiries related to voucher redemption.
• Effectively communicate with customers and vendors regarding all aspects of voucher redemption processes.
• Ensure all vendor payments are routed through the Purchase Order (PO) process as per company guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in travel operations, voucher redemption, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of travel booking systems and procedures (Amadeus experience preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and travel booking software.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of visa requirements and international travel regulations is an advantage.
