Job Description

The Technical Project Manager will oversee multiple, high-impact projects across both product and service-based lines, with a focus on delivery within scope, on time, and on budget. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong multitasking skills, and hands on approach to project planning and execution. A significant part of this role involves working directly as a Scrum Master, making Agile processes are central to the delivery of every project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple complex projects, with a hands-on role in planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
Act as a Scrum Master for various teams, leading Scrum ceremonies, facilitating sprint planning, and driving Agile best practices across projects.
Partner with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and QA to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Ensure timely project delivery by actively managing project milestones, conducting frequent reviews, and maintaining alignment with business objectives.
Engage with senior stakeholders, including those from large enterprises and financial institutions, translating business goals into technical requirements and managing expectations.
Leverage expertise in modern technology stacks, including microservices, Java, Angular, Node.js, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), to support and guide technical teams.
Prepare, maintain, and communicate project documentation, such as project plans, sprint goals, risk registers, and status updates, for effective stakeholder management.

Desired Candidate profile:

Experience : Minimum 10 years in IT project management, with at least 7 years in a technical project management role. The candidate should have worked in a Scrum Master role for at least 5 years, actively leading Scrum ceremonies and ensuring Agile principles are upheld.
Scrum Mastery: Proven track record as a hands-on Scrum Master, capable of guiding teams through the full Agile lifecycle, facilitating continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to Scrum practices.
Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, including microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), Java, Angular, and Node.js. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and RESTful APIs.
Enterprise Experience : Demonstrated success managing projects within large enterprises, ideally within regulated environments such as financial services. A thorough understanding of scalability, security, and compliance considerations is essential.
Project Delivery : Extensive experience in end-to-end project lifecycle management, including WBS-based estimation, requirements gathering, development, and deployment. Experience with distributed teams is preferred.
Leadership : Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing large technical teams. Skilled in fostering collaboration, mentoring team members, and maintaining a productive and Agile-focused team environment.
Multitasking & Organization : Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting project deadlines and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
Communication: Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior business and technical stakeholders. Skilled in negotiating project scope, deliverables, and timelines with large enterprise clients.
Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying risks and addressing challenges with innovative solutions, especially in complex and regulated environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience working in SaaS companies or with SaaS project implementations.
Familiarity with data security standards (eg, GDPR, HIPAA) and financial compliance regulations.
A background in software development, particularly in backend or integration-focused roles, is highly desirable.
