OTIS Lift - Commission, Maintenance, Repair, Technician - Fabrication Systems (1 position)

We are looking for an experienced field-based Elevator Team member for our OTIS Elevator Distributorship. Developing and `improving on completing given task on time.

Applicants should have exposure/competence in the following:

• Detailed experience & knowledge in various aspect of elevators; including :

1. Commissioning of elevator,

2. Maintenance & repair of Elevator

3. Electrical Wiring, reading wiring diagram,

4. Trouble shooting & repairing

• Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and signal and control systems, using test equipment.
• Adjust safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms, and components such as valves, ratchets, seals, and brake linings.
• Inspect wiring connections, control panel hookups, door installations, and alignments and clearances of cars to ensure that equipment will operate properly.
• Maintain log books that detail all repairs and checks performed and maintain operational data.
• Should be able to handle manpower working under him and its optimum utilization by organizing them as a team and get work done on time.
• Able to handle and resolve issues / complaints in a timely and professional way.
• To train and motivate team to achieve qualitative standards while following Health & Safety during work.
• Should be self-confident with analytical mind who believes in perfection, and research & development.
• Hardworking nature.

Required Qualification & Work Experience:

• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience with at least 2 years experience on similar position. Having worked with one of the large brands (Schindler, OTIS, ThyssenKrupp) in similar position is mandatory.
• Diploma, ITI or Degree holder in electricals with experience.
• Experience in Generation 2 lift of OTIS is added advantage.
• Age 30-40 years
• He should be well versed with quality & safety measures to put in place.
• Africa working experience is preferable.
• Joining period 15 to 30 days from final confirmation.
• Bachelor Status

Salary/Perks:

• Net Salary ranging from USD 1,000 to USD 1,300 excluding other perks, Air ticket, accommodation, gas, water, transport, cook, local Salary etc. according to merit & experience of candidate.
